Sometimes I wonder how I can ever find the right word... how can I tell if I'm passing up a better word for one that just pops into my mind?

Words Trapped Inside My Mind

Mythic, Gothic creatures--trapped up inside my mind.

They struggle, pant, rage for release but cannot grasp the latch 

For their stony, fumbling hands. So they sit,

Burdened,

Sulking,

Waiting for a river to gush, to break the doors and flood out every... last... goblin.
